Transferring your domain means moving its registration from your current registrant to be registered with us.

To transfer a domain to us is free for '.uk' domains and only £9.99/domain for '.com' domains. If you transfer your domain to us then you will be liable for registration fees when your domain registration expires (see above table). It is not possible to register '.uk' domains for less than two years.

Alternatively, if you'd rather leave your domain with your current registrant, you can still take advantage of our amazingly good value hosting by redirecting your domain to point at our DNS servers. This is a simple process and we will provide you with all the knowledge and information you need. If you redirect your domain to us then you just pay us for hosting your website, but note that you will still have to pay your domain registrant to renew your domain.

If you want to tranfer your domain to us or redirect it to us, simply use your existing domain name in the registration process when you buy your hosting package, and send us an email at: hosting@warewelchwebhosting.co.uk telling us whether you want to tansfer or redirect your domain and we'll guide you through the process from there.

Please note: Transferring or redirecting a domain takes between 12 and 48 hours once you have notified us and your current domain registrants of your intentions.
